Hey all my readers out there!
How's life?
Good I hope!
Mine is great, just you know "livin' life less ordinary"
:)
Haha I was in the sing-song mood all day today especially after lunch I started singing some chiddy chiddy which of course made the girls around me laugh and reminded me of good ol' 1224 girls and me singing chiddy chiddy around the house just being ridiculous.
Aww I miss you girls!!
Let's see here, today I woke up and walked to termini, the big bus/train station that is surprisingly close to my house considering school is a thirty minute walk and this was only ten it was exciting :)
I knew how to get there too!
Woop woop!
I'm really getting the hang of this navigation and map thing.
I'm so proud of myself, any of you who know me and my sense of direction know I suck at it and always end up getting lost even on the simplest of trips.
Lol you kind of just need to relax here and go with the flow, you might do a couple circles, but without trying, you will eventually find what you're looking for :)
My class, along with two other art classes, met at termini to take a bus to Tivoli.
The bus ride wasn't long probably about thirty-forty minutes.
Our first place to visit was Villa Adriana also known as Adrian's palace.
It was really fascinating to see all the ancient ruins of what is left of his palace.
My teacher was the leader of the group because she is also an archeologist and she actually knew where their baths were and toilets and theaters and all that jazz.
Interesting story she told us about their toilets were that they used to be assigned to certain spots next to certain people and after they were done going to the bathroom they would sit there and talk "business" can you imagine?! Haha she said that is where we get the term of "doing your business" referring to going to the bathroom.
Too funny!
I love all the random stories that come with tour guides/teachers and for some reason I always remember them, I'm such a weird person.
Haha after we toured the villa we got on the bus and stopped at a square right outside Villa D'Este and ate lunch.
It was a gorgeous day out which is awesome for February, it honestly felt like the perfect spring day, so we decided to eat lunch outside. :)
It was amazing.
After lunch we toured Villa D'Este which is a garden of fountains and absolutely gorgeous!
I was in love with the place!
My teacher said most girls leave there wanting to get married there and I completely understand why, it's beautiful!!!
I will post pictures so you can see what I'm talking about, I wanted to spend my whole day there just sitting listening to the water fountains and birds and lounging in the sun, unfortunately, we eventually had to leave :(
I was sad to go, but excited to get back because we were going to finally go out after our long week of school.
We got home, got ready, and headed to Jodine's.
The night didn't really go as planned and we ended up just walking around the whole night which made everyone crabby :(
So, here's to hoping tomorrow will be a better night :)
