Booked my trip to Amsterdam today!
Woo who!! I'm really excited :)
I only booked the one way flight though because we are also going to Prague that weekend so I still need to find a flight home.
Either way, I'm halfway there!
Back track now, woke up this morning and decided it was a day for a run :)
I ventured out my apartment and up a couple blocks I found the most gorgeous/huge park of Rome!
It had a ton of museums on the corners and fountains and trees and people.
Plus this amazing view over Rome!
I was so happy not only to be running for one, running outside for two, but running in this amazing park!
It was awesome!
I got a little lost on the way home, but I figured it out.
After my run I got ready and walked to school.
Once again just being a local Italian passing by the Pantheon on my way to class.
I need to go in it again and take more picture because I was only inside for a mere 15 minutes on my field trip and that wasn't long enough.
School went well, I only had my Italian language class today and it was pretty easy.
After class is was about 5:20pm and Molly, Clara, and I decided to walk to Jodine's apartment and hang out.
She lives like 5 minutes away from school so super close.
We talked for awhile and decided to go to this gelato place we heard about that dips the gelato in chocolate, yes it's like a chocolate dip cone only in a dish and a million times better!! It was sooo good!!
I got white chocolate nutella and cookie gelato dipped in chocolate.
I thought I was over gelato until I ate it at that place and oh my gosh it will never be the same!!
After that we just walked around discovering back alleys we had never been down before.
It got to be around 7pm and we got hungry for real food/dinner so we went to a place near school.
I got bruschetta and a salad.
It was pretty good, I wasn't a big fan of the dressing, but it had avocado on it and it was very fresh so I enjoyed that :)
After that I walked back to Jodine's, grabbed my backpack, and rode the bus home.
At home I booked my Amsterdam trip and caught up with some friends on facebook.
Other than that I haven't had that much of an excited day.
We did take a few pictures of the memorial of the unknown soldier that is now a museum.
I don't know much about the place other than it's a landmark on the way to school and I'm sure I will learn about it in my Art History class.
That's pretty much it for tonight hopefully more exciting things happen tomorrow so my post won't be as lame.
Tomb/Musuem
Church across the street, p.s. that column that you can't really see has this picture inscriptions all over is and it wraps the entire length of a the column telling a story! Pretty sweet, huh?
