Woke up this morning and studied for my first quiz in my Elementary Italian 2 class. I was a little nervous because we covered quite a bit of material. I studied for awhile then got ready for school. When I got to school we had about 5 minutes to look over our notes before the quiz was handed out. I think I did alright on it, we'll find out on Tuesday. After the quiz we had class as normal and after class at 5:15 the girls and I walked around Rome for awhile in search of a backpack for one of the girls for our trip to Cinque Terre. We didn't find much and eventually made out way home. We (Molly, Jodine, and I) hung out at the apartment a little bit and then headed for the bus stop to meet the rest of the girls (Emily, Liz, and Clara) because they were not sure where Molly and I lived and we were hosting the family dinner for the night.
We met them at the bus stop and headed to the grocery store to get our ingredients. Bacon, pasta noodles, white wine, and some snacks for the trip this weekend. We got home and everyone gathered around the kitchen table while Molly and I prepared dinner, Pasta Grica, the same pasta we cooked earlier in the week. I think it turned out even better! We had plenty for all six of us and it was a good call on my and Jodine's part to add extra bacon in it. I'm surprised I remembered how to cook everything. We didn't make the stuffed zucchini because Molly and I still haven't figured out how to use our oven. It was alright though because we had more than enough food to go around.
Everyone enjoyed their dinner and after we looked up our hostel in Cinque Terre and discussed last minute details for our trip. I was really excited! Everyone I had talked to that had gone previously like Becky and Brittany both loved Cinque Terre and said it was absolutely beautiful :) After talking about the trip we watched some youtube videos and then the girls headed home. I finished up the dishes and headed to bed making the decision to pack in the morning since I had the time and I was exhausted.
Much better! Thank you for considering my comment and not taking it offensively :)
