When In Roma: Day 39- Roma!-Tuesday-3/8/11

     I'm very behind in my blogs and writing this from the 21st of March trying to remember back to this Tuesday so bear with me. I woke up this morning and hung around the apartment until I had class at 2:45pm.

     It was probably the same old Italian class, as usual. After class at 5:15pm I headed home with Molly, I'm pretty sure we walked around awhile before finally heading home and made dinner together.

     Jodine asked us to go out with her and we decided, why not? Since we had not gone out all weekend, we might as well :) We got ready and met her at her apartment around 9ish. We were actually on time for once and it was really funny because she was so used to Molly and I showing up late that she was still in bed! We waited for her to get ready and then headed out with her roomates to one of the guy's apartments in our program.

     It was funny we hung out there awhile and listened to music. They actually had beer pong set up which I have not played since the beginning of fall semester homecoming I think, so that was fun to play. I'm terrible at it though and Jodine held us together until the very end, we lost and it was completely from my lack of skills not hers, haha.

     After hanging there for awhile we decided to meet up with a different group of people in Trastevere because we had never been there before. It was kind of a long walk, but beautiful out so we didn't mind. We got there and guess what? They had HARRY POTTER SHOTS!! Yes, we took one! :) They weren't the tastiest shot I've ever had, but never have I ever had a shot lit on fire before taking it until tonight! That was quite an experience :)

     We walked back to the Campo area after checking out one more bar and deciding it would be better to come back on the weekend. It was fun, but we were tired, so we decided to go get a crepe and then go home. We really wanted a crepe with nutella and white chocolate, but they didn't have anymore white chocolate :( We were really bummed until Jodine decided to try smarties which are their version of m&m's. It was amazing! Molly and I followed suite. We enjoyed our midnight snack and then headed back to our apartment and went to bed.

     Wow, I really do write about food a lot, haha sorry folks this should be called follow my appetite in Rome rather than follow me in Rome! ;)
